About the Opportunity Excelsior Group ME is a specialized HR and recruitment consultancy partnering with leading companies in the UAE. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer role focused on power tools and hydraulic tools in the Abu Dhabi market. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic sales team in the engineering and industrial sector, driving growth through technical sales expertise.

Job Overview As a Sales Engineer, you will identify and develop sales opportunities for power tools, hydraulic tools, and related electrical/industrial products. You will engage with potential clients, understand their technical needs, build strong relationships, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. This role combines technical knowledge, relationship management, and field sales in the UAE (primarily Abu Dhabi territory).

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients in the industrial, construction, and engineering sectors
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable power tools, hydraulic tools, and related solutions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/annual sales quotas and targets set by management
  • Build and maintain constructive, long-term relationships with clients and channel partners
  • Collaborate with partners to build sales pipelines and successfully close deals
  • Prepare and submit timely weekly sales reports via Workday or similar systems
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, growth trends, and territory insights (including any declines or closures)
  • Provide technical support and product information during client meetings and negotiations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in the Abu Dhabi/UAE region (mandatory)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), or a related field
  • Mandatory hands-on experience selling electrical/power tools and hydraulic tools (product knowledge essential)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a strong track record of closing deals
  • Valid UAE Driving License (essential for field visits)
  • Based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi preferred) and ready for client meetings and territory coverage
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in a competitive market
